Summer Webinars from the Union of Concerned Scientists
Science Network Workshop Series
Register for Our Spring Webinars on Science Communication
Everyone has a story tell—and so does every research project. Join us for online trainings on using storytelling to share your science. You'll learn from the experts about how to craft a compelling story that speaks to your audience. Our partner, the More than Scientists campaign, will also have an opportunity for you to share that story with a national audience.
101: The Story Behind the Scientist
Date: Tuesday, May 19
Time: 3:00 p.m. EDT
Whether it's talking about your research, pitching an idea for a project or grant, or just talking to family and friends about what you do, it's important to craft a story about your work or your research. Attendees will walk away with strategies for storytelling, resources on communicating important ideas in a story framework, and have an opportunity to submit a video of their story for a national audience through the More Than Scientists campaign.
